Meet the Icon 1000 Fairlady Jacket

Today Icon dropped some new products- one of which is the very cool and classy Icon 1000 Fairlady jacket.

It comes in black and brown, with a shape that accentuates your lady curves instead of smothers them in fabric and bulk. Seriously though, check out the silhouette- reminiscent of 1950’s pin up models.

As with all other ladies Icon 1000 jackets, it comes with D30 armor on the shoulders, elbows, and back. D30 armor is CE rated and much more comfortable than older hard armors- it’s soft and flexible so it moves when you move. Upon impact, should that happen, it hardens up to protect you. Pretty amazing, really.

Contrast stitching brings out the retro features such as tuck-and-rolled style leather on the elbows, belt line, and cuffs. Princess seams add to the feminine shape. For those that don’t know- princess seams are a feature of well-tailored garments that run up the bodice to add to a woman’s curves, rather than take away. Icon classifies this as a sport fit jacket, meaning it’s a little shorter in the torso (but not too short) than the Federal or Akorp jacket. The long arms cover you up even when bent over in riding position, and the cuffs zip down to hug your arms (great for wearing with gauntlet gloves). Oh, by the way, it’s got laser cut under arm perforations to keep the air flowin’.

The Icon 1000 Fairlady jacket retails at $535, is available in black and brown, XS through 2XL. Visit Revzilla for more info and to buy online– free shipping, great return policy, and stellar customer service.

I love the cut of the jacket. I just wish it was the length of your t-shirt instead!

I had d30 armor in my Icon 1000 jacket during a low-side accident. I love the jacket, and I still wear it just fine.
