♫ “It’s like thunder and lightning…” ♪
I got this tattoo as a souvenir from my trip… the bolt is to symbolize the bike built by Jeff Yarrington of Saint Motor Company called “Tesla”. Since Nicola Tesla was the father of electricity, I felt this a perfect homage. Big thanks to Bill Stevenson at Have Fun Be Lucky tattoo for squeezing me in at the end of his busy day!
The bike was on display at the MotoLady Maryland Meetup yesterday, and my photos will be released soon!

Sasha Valentine (of Cafe Racer XXX), Jeff Yarrington (Saint Motor Company) and myself today at the MotoLady Maryland Meetup.
Sasha is a mover and a shaker to say the least- she made all this happen. A packed house today and tons of motorcycles, a fun time was had by all. Thank you Cafe Racer XXX!

A little flash back from a motolady in Australia.

“My husband’s 1951 BSA B31 350cc which I learned to ride on briefly during 1956…….no licence then. Didn’t start again until 7 years ago and got my licences then. That is me on it! I now ride a 1200cc Custom HD in Aussie — a Bulls, New Zealand” (Monique W. Petersen)

This spherical wheeled motorcycle was posted to Gizmodo with the comment-

Besides an eco-friendly electric drivetrain, the bike’s spherical drive system is promised to be safer than a traditional motorcycle since the front wheel can’t suddenly turn sideways and jackknife, leading to a crash. And those giant spherical wheels — made from carbon fibre and fibreglass covered in industrial rubber — make maneuvering and parking an absolute breeze since the bike can move sideways just as easily as it can move forwards and back.

I can’t help but wonder though, if being able to careen sideways toward objects is any better even if you’re rolling fluidly. Maybe I should ride it to find out.
