TerraCorsa: 1199 Panigale Adventure Bike

MotoCorsa is doing some rad stuff. If you don’t already know, I’m no longer working there. Not since last December- but that’s not the point. The point is my friend Taylor Ramsauer (Garage 6) is working on a lot of their projects now. He did a killer video and photoshoot with TerraCorsa– a Ducati 1199 Panigale with knobbies and other mods from Quentin Wilson and MotoCorsa.

Quentin has raced in the AMA- personally I don’t think anyone could get on and ride a 195bhp dirt bike quite like he did. He’s also a great guy all around.

The exhaust was modified to withhold environmental abuse and the whole bottom of the bike is basically a skidplate. Q and Taylor took it out on an adventure for the photo and video shoot, but it also went on a 1,200 mile trek through all sorts of terrain.

“The ride ended up being five people. One Multistrada, one TerraCorsa and three GS’s. We went and did a 1,200 mile ride over three days in all kinds of conditions. Rain, mud, gravel, grass, street. I’d like to think we did as much of an adventure ride as anyone normal person would, be it on a GS, a Super Tenere or a KTM. We were in the middle of nowhere with no excuses, there’s nowhere we went that the Panigale didn’t just go right along with us. It was super impressive.” Arun Sharma, GM of MotoCorsa, told RideApart in their interview

You might have your doubts, but watch the video and prepare to be impressed.
