My dude Wolf got workin’ on his XS650 chopper project again last night. Plans were made to have it done by Born Free this weekend, but as happens with building motorcycles, it had to be put on hiatus for a little while. Don’t have a lift? Use a cinderblock. This woman, Sash Walker (link) of ‘Road Pickle Motorcycle Bohemia’, is fearless. Through snow, ice, and dropping her bike… all to get from San Diego, California to Denver, Colorado for the Steel Horse Sisterhood Summit. Got this submission from two ladies who took a two-up road trip on their Maxim from PA to CA and back! Number one reason this excites me- my first bike was a 1980 Yamaha XJ 650 Maxim! Today I had the pleasure of meeting Dick at See See Motor Coffee- he’s on a West Coast road trip on his KLR650 from New Mexico! He is full of smiles and it’s no wonder why… I would be too if I was on a couple month long moto hiatus!
