Awesome snow moto photo by Willard Chivers of Twisted Label.

I found Moto Lady some time last year while researching for a photo shoot. It made it on to my RSS reader and I always look forward to all the cool stuff you post. I finally got to do my own moto lady shoot and wanted to share it with you since this blog is my primary source for motorcycle imagery inspiration. Credits go to me at twistedlabel.com

Thanks for the awesome submission and super flattering compliments, Will! As for more background on the image- Willard told me it’s his friend Jozi on a custom Yamaha XS 650 in Utah.

Chris came over today to help us wrench on Justin’s bike. New 4 into 1 exhaust meant new header gaskets, cutting/dremmeling out the airbox, installing pod air filters, and re-jetting the carbs. I took photos with my real camera that I’m sure will end up here, but in the mean time here’s some cool instagram shots.

Submission from Luke in TN-

My girlfriend Katelyn started building a 1980 CB650 in her laundry room over the winter.  A month ago, she brought it to my shop to finish.  After she did the rings, jugs and valves we heaved the engine back into her beautifully finished frame.  She’ll be riding this third bike of hers by August.  On nights like this, I’m the one barefoot in the kitchen.

Thanks for the awesome shot and story, Luke! It’s August now… send me some pics of your girl and her sweet new ride!

Awesome submission from Lari of her riding lil cruiser/classic bike.

First day on my Kawasaki W 650. (676 to be accurate)  I was convinced I’d never ride bigger than my ill fated ‘72 Honda CB350cc, or would simply stick to my 50cc Metro. But with the help (and persuasion) of my Motley Crew of Friends, she’s my current Dream Ride.  - Lari

Sold my Maxim tonight. It sure is bittersweet, saying goodbye to my first bike.

Sold my Maxim tonight. It sure is bittersweet, saying goodbye to my first bike.

Lots of bikes out and about today and a lovely 90 mile jaunt on the Maxim. Ended up stopping at Skyline Tavern because there were so many people there (about 4 more than pictured).

Best thing about riding today (besides riding in general) was getting to wear my short leather gloves. So much more comfy than the winter gloves I have.

Todays project- paint it black. Justin’s Maxim has a lot of aluminum that has worn over time. Solution? Metal primer and matte black spray paint.
