Son of a Gun BSA - Just saw this, and immediately had to post. My god. My eyes are wide, and I think I’m drooling. This bike is based on a BSA Gold Star, and the engine is an ex racing 1951 XB-model single with 499cc.

“Saltcracker” the 1939 Indian

Lars’ Indian is a 1939 model with a ‘741’ engine, bored out from 500 to 600cc. He built this bike to run at Bonneville, in the 600cc Special Construction Vintage Supercharged Fuel class. (Yes, Saltcracker is not only supercharged, but also runs on methanol.)
