Feast your eyes on the Harley Davidson scrambler build by Burly Brand– can’t help but be a fan of the chunky dual sport tires, top rack, low profile seat and dirt bike bars. Oh, the ideas I’m getting…  Now, yes, a Sportster isn’t a light motorcycle, and I wouldn’t say generally makes the best base line for a scrambler bike. Son of a Gun BSA – Just saw this, and immediately had to post. My god. My eyes are wide, and I think I’m drooling. This bike is based on a BSA Gold Star, and the engine is an ex racing 1951 XB-model single with 499cc. Thumbs up indeed, dude. “Saltcracker” the 1939 Indian Lars’ Indian is a 1939 model with a ‘741’ engine, bored out from 500 to 600cc. He built this bike to run at Bonneville, in the 600cc Special Construction Vintage Supercharged Fuel class. (Yes, Saltcracker is not only supercharged, but also runs on methanol.)
