Pretty excited about my feature in Tank Moto magazine (website) from Australia. It’s amazing quality makes the 143 full bleed pages of beautiful motorcycle photographs that much better. The nine page spread includes photographs from my trip to the Bonneville Salt Flats, the Touratech ADV Moto Rally, Ride the Edge Ontario Adventure, working on the Dual Sporty project, and some shots of Pandora. I’m absolutely flattered and honored to be included in such a beautiful magazine, thanks guys! Order yours at fuel-press.com! [ more MotoLady in the press ]

MotoLady on the salt flats… photos by Phil Hawkins (ishootfromthehipphotography.com). I am so thrilled that Phil and I happened to be free and run into each other on the flats- I can’t imagine not having these awesome photos. Thanks again, man! Bonneville Salt Flats… BUB motorcycle speed trials 2012. Photo by Phil Hawkins. I heard tell of being on the salt flats during this rain storm. It came out of no where- and at one end of the raceway you could see the clouds coming for you. Like they were hot on your tail, faster and faster. Riding away as quickly as you could, they’d be nipping at your heels… and then they’d catch you. Dumping rain… more than anyone had before experienced in the prior nine years of BUB.
My absolute favorite shot from the entire trip… Mark Bjorklund taking off for his return run on the short international track. Green flag in the background and all. He’s on the Sodium Distortion Ducati S4Rs 1000cc A-AG class salt racer by Super Rat from Bellingham, WA. (Click the link for more a closer look at the bike on MotoCorsa’s website.) He knocked out a record that stood since 1975 at 166.3mph (267.6kph).
Jason Omer on his Sodium Distortion partial streamliner at BUB motorcycle speed trials this last week. He was waiting for Mark on the Ducati & Chad in the plane to make a pass for video. Jason set an AMA national 1000cc APS-PG record of 156.8 mph. He beat the old record by more than 6 mph.
