Owner of Century Motorcycles, Cindy Rutherford, amazing motolady and vibrant spirit passed away today. It’s hitting the motorcycle industry hard as we all tear up remembering her amazing qualities.
We need more women like Cindy in the world. Rest in peace, you bad mamma jamma. <3 And yeah, fuck cancer.

The most amazing message I have ever received… wow. I got goosebumps.
Thank you for sharing your story, anonymous. Can any of you say “motorcycles saved my life” too?

There was a time in my life when I didn’t think I’d ever fit in or love anything. I decided to kill myself. But while deciding how to, I walked past a motorcycle training centre. I’d always liked the look of motorcycles but never thought I’d be able to afford to ride them. The guy took me in and talked to me, gave me my first lesson for free. He saved my life. I live, because I know tomorrow, I’ll ride.

Bikes Saved my Life by Kym Liebig. His story of trial, tribulation, and triumph when a blood vessel explodes in his brain. He attributes his recovery to motorcycles.
Anyone else have a story of how motorcycles helped them improve or recover in some way? Share in the comments.

This is hilarious, stupid, and horrible all at once. Rider fakes fatal injuries to red flag a race… it wasn’t enough just to fail.

He had to put himself in the way of other riders potentially actually causing a fatal collision. Idiot.

A wonderful video about two older gentlemen who won’t stop riding until they’re dead.

Get on with ridin’ or get on with dyin’. One or the other, you know?

Grabbed this shot before my co-worker AJ Ralston (and resident bad ass here at MotoCorsa) rode off on his Multistrada in the rain. Vanson skeleton jacket = amazing.

“Faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.”
I’ve posted this Hunter S. Thompson quote before but I do believe it’s going to be my next tattoo, so the timing is perfect.

I didn’t miss the insanely heart-wrenching news about Marco Simoncelli passing away Sunday, in fact I received the news when I arrived on set for the Icon shoot that morning. What a way to start the day, eh? I made this design for a MotoCorsa email blast and have decided I indeed want to post it here.
“You live more for five minutes going fast on a bike like that than other people do in all of their life” - Marco Simoncelli
Ciao, Marco. You, your hair, your sass, and your aggressive riding style will be missed by millions. Rest and ride in peace.

Italian motorcycles? We get them, don’t we? They chatter at idle, rev to the moon, weigh nothing, cost mega-lira and are ridden by skinny leather-clad knee-grinding monkeys with a death wish.

RIP Steve Jobs, amazingly brilliant mind. No surprise he was also a motorcyclist. You will be missed.

Helmet Protester Dies of Head Trauma

A 55 year old motorcyclist from Parish, New York, went on a ride Sunday organized by the Onondaga chapter of American Bikers Aimed Toward Education (ABATE) during which he sustained head trauma and died.

The ironic part of this tragedy is that he was protesting wearing a state-required helmet. A helmet that would have saved his life.

Bill Drabek, mechanic and motorcyclist, installed a flathead Ford V-8 into a beautiful white Indian. He died in 1968, and his wife passed in 2001. They both rest in a cemetery with no gravestone. David Edwards, who is in the process of restoring the motorcycle, has set out to give them a headstone. If you’d like to donate, please visit this link.
