Erica‘s BBQ Benefit had amazing turn out. The crowd was diverse, the raffles were fun, and there were some awesome bikes. I’ll post some more highlights later.

BBQ Benefit for Erica Price
Many of you know that my coworker Erica was injured while riding her Ducati last month. The damage is extensive, the road to recovery is long. The amount of support from the motorcycling community has been incredible. Previously, See See Motorcycles (website) held a raffle for a sweet little custom motorcycle (among other things) and raised $1,500 for the cause. Now it’s MotoCorsa’s turn to help out our own. Featuring three fantastic moto ladies on their Ducati sport classics. This photo was taken outside my work, MotoCorsa, October 2008 in Portland Oregon. Erica (far right) is doing a ton better today than the other day. I got to visit her today, she is as lovely as ever. Tomorrow, Kat (far left) is coming in from Philly to visit Erica, and I’m stoked to see her as well. Here’s hoping for the speediest recovery allowable by the laws of the universe.
My thoughts and love are with Erica right now- she was involved in a motorcycle accident last night and is currently in ICU. She is stable. That’s really all we know. Erica is a lovely moto lady who’s been featured on this site before (see here), my coworker, and a truly wonderful person. She is also a tough cookie and will, no doubt, spring back in a jiffy.
