Chris came over today to help us wrench on Justin’s bike. New 4 into 1 exhaust meant new header gaskets, cutting/dremmeling out the airbox, installing pod air filters, and re-jetting the carbs. I took photos with my real camera that I’m sure will end up here, but in the mean time here’s some cool instagram shots.

Justin’s 1982 Yamaha XJ Maxim 650 the day he got it (top) and today (bottom). It’s amazing how much small upgrades can completely change a bike’s ride-ability and look. Carb cleaning, exhaust patches, exhaust wrap, new handlebars and mirrors, grip warmers, new rear suspension, fork seals, new headlight bulb, and emergency tool kit in custom leather fork bag.
