Ever imagined what it would be like to be chased by a dangerous animal on a motorcycle? Well, Tim Bartlett found out while joy riding his new bike on Hwy 93 in Canada when he almost hit a lone wolf on the highway.
Apparently Tim almost hit the wolf while riding in Kootenay National Park on Saturday, and returned to the scene where the wolf had appeared. At that point the animal jumped back over the concrete barrier, crossed a lane of traffic, and began the chase that lasted just over a half mile (about a kilometer).
Lanakila MacNaughton’s photography is continually amazing me, capturing the breathtaking beauty of real women who ride motorcycles.
Lana was the the Dirt ‘n Dip campout this weekend, I can’t tell you enough how wonderful a lady she is. Check out her work on womensmotoexhibit.com.

BMW celebrated it’s 90th anniversary of making motorcycles, releasing this classic sporty beauty called the Concept Ninety. It’s said to have been partially inspired by the 40 year old R90 design, apparent in the tank and orange paint job.
Will other companies start making their own versions of retro motorcycles, modernized and done right similar to the Sport Classic line from Ducati? One can only hope! The Concept Ninety is decked out with Ohlins forks and rear shock, dual disc front brakes with Brembo calipers, and beautiful lines taking note from the oh-so-retro and popular Cafe Racer style. I for one, am excited.
Awesome submission of Kate Carlsen from photographer Alex Ulleri (website), he said-
Here is my friend Kate, an awesome lady from Toronto, Ontario Canada. She just picked up her new ‘93 Sportster and has been riding it non stop. Kate’s a big fan and was super excited when I asked her if I could submit the photos to you.Keep up the great work. You’re an inspiration to everyone. Not just women.
Thank you for the amazingly sweet compliment and excellent photography submission! Nothing can top a nice shot of a lady who rides, and these are quite lovely. Kate, congratulations on your new ride!
Damn, Lanakila sure knows how to capture motoladies in their natural habitat. This time she caught a few of the East Side Moto Babes; (left to right) Stacie B. London, Jeanette Mekdara, and Ana Llorente.
Be sure to go check out the Women’s Moto Exhibit website to see more of her striking photography.

We’ve all been told or experienced ourselves just how dangeous it is to ride a motorcycle. If you were in a major accident, would you ride again? What if you couldn’t use your legs?
At 15 years old, Darius Glover heard the doctors tell him, “you’ll never walk again and you’ll never ride again.” Regardless of losing the use of his legs from a motorcycle accident, he rides motocross again. He looked at that doctor and said, “you’re wrong.” If that doc doubted him, wow how wrong he was.

Darius went on to qualify for Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Motocross Championships in Florida- he traveled hundreds of miles and was turned down because of his “disability”.
