Richard Britton (1970-2005) in an epic downhill power wheelie on a GSXR1000 during the 2004 Ulster Grand Prix that takes place Ireland’s countryside.
The photo might look like it’s from Isle of Man, but it aint! The Ulster Grand Prix, aka the “World’s Fastest Road Race” takes place on the Dundrod Circuit near Belfast and started in 1922.

Ana Carrasco: Racing Against Men

Ana Carrasco, 16 year old FIM MotoGP racer in the Moto 3 field, talks about how she feels being a “woman in a man’s world”. She finished 8th at Valencia last week and finished her first season in a decent spot.

From KTM’s blog-

She notched six top twenty finishes until arriving at Sepang for the Malaysian Grand Prix in October where 15th position meant she was the first female to score GP points in twelve years and the first since 1995 in the small cylinder category.

Ueda Helmet Sculptures

Shuhei Ueda, located in Japan, is doing some very interesting things in the way of helmet art under the name Ueda Helmets including iconic race replicas.

Instead of painting helmets that are already manufactured, he’s sculpting helmets with human features in/on them.

Working with the infinitely talented Gregor Halenda was an absolute treat- and before all the photos come out for the joint gear review project with Silodrome, I wanted to share this shot from lighting tests that we were particularly fond of.
While you might not recognize his name, you’ve seen his work. In the Ducati model catalogue, Rev’It’s campaign with Ducati, and so much more. Your eyes will thank you for hopping over to his website for a look-see- gregorhalenda.com.
Huge thanks to Gregor for making this work on a tight schedule before a big trip, James McBride for making things happen from across the globe, and Bill Blacke for bringing his Guzzi down for the shoot.
