Riders left See See Motorcycles & Coffee at approximately 8:40p. Wheelies were pulled. Look at that shiny wet ground! ‘Bout 30 bikes total.
ROOSTER TAIL! Been seeing these all over Portland- saw six bikes just on the way to work today (not including my coworkers). I’m so proud to be a Portlander!
Riding a motorcycle in Portland in the off season is often like this.
My friend Adrian Capurso, who lent me the truck and RC-51 for the Bonneville Salt Flat trip, came to Portland yesterday! Today we took him for a fall ride and surprise- it ended with us getting soaked. We were able to hit some good roads before the rain and Adrian was stoked… twisties galore for the RC.
We went to Multnomah Falls, drove down Historic Highway 30, and took the freeway back after it started the Portland rain.
This is hilarious, stupid, and horrible all at once. Rider fakes fatal injuries to red flag a race… it wasn’t enough just to fail.
He had to put himself in the way of other riders potentially actually causing a fatal collision. Idiot.

I heard tell of being on the salt flats during this rain storm. It came out of no where- and at one end of the raceway you could see the clouds coming for you. Like they were hot on your tail, faster and faster. Riding away as quickly as you could, they’d be nipping at your heels… and then they’d catch you. Dumping rain… more than anyone had before experienced in the prior nine years of BUB.
It rained around 4p yesterday at the Bonneville Salt Flats- no racing today because of too much water. :( WTF, rain? Why you gotta follow me from Portland?!
