Why isn’t there a single company out there that sells a complete line of considered protective gear for men and women? Instead we get a hodge-podge of mismatched stuff thats designed to look good on a hanger in Cycle Gear or whatever. Sean Smith, motorcyclist and freelance journalist in Los Angeles

Hoppin’ on the bike all by my lonesome tonight… FIELD TEST TIME! MotoLady and the Icon Airmada… the beginning of a love story I can almost guarantee! It’s so small (the shell, I mean) and hugs my face like a happy Koala. I’ll report back later!

Brittany Morrow Motorcycle Crash Anniversary

Seven years ago today Brittany Morrow was torn off the back of a sportbike in a gust of wind… hitting the ground at a high speed wearing an oversized helmet, sneakers, sweater and capri jeans over her bikini. The Road Rash Queen

Brittany Morrow is a moto lady who was ripped off the bike by heavy wind while riding pillion on the back of a sport bike. When people argue with me about the importance of gear, I quote instances like this.  55 percent body coverage of third degree burns, severed tendons in my left pinky finger, a severely dislocated right big toe, and a large amount of blood loss; what really slowed the healing process was what I experienced in the hospital. Indirect results of the accident due to a prolonged hospital stay:… Continue Reading »
