The One Moto Show (video)

There were a lot of dynamic parts of the One Motorcycle Show no. 5 that I didn’t feel satisfied capturing in one frame. So this time I did something a little different and made a short video featuring highlights that really give the One show it’s uniqueness.

My friend Justin Coffey from Peanut Butter Coast sent me this loving photo of my friend Chris Herrin today.

Love you too guys.

If you want the tee, they’ve got ‘em at See See.

While it doesn’t strike some folks’ fancy, I personally love seeing things go places they typically “shouldn’t”. Like SeeSee’s Monster goin’ for some off road adventuring.

There are things that you know you shouldn’t do, I find myself time and time again gravitating towards those things. someone once said its better to regret the things you’ve done rather than the regret the things you would have done. (SeeSee Blog)

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Dick at See See Motor Coffee- he’s on a West Coast road trip on his KLR650 from New Mexico! He is full of smiles and it’s no wonder why… I would be too if I was on a couple month long moto hiatus!

If you’re in the Pacific Northwest, your chance to see Lanakila MacNaughton’s beautiful photography in person is almost here! The Women’s Motorcycle Exhibit gallery opening party is from 8-10p July 12, 2013 at See See Motorcycles in Portland, OR.
Lana’s work is really special- she uses an old medium format camera (that’s right, it’s film) to capture real women who ride in essence. Her subjects often seem to embody freedom at it’s finest, one with their machines as much as they are their surroundings.

Ladies Only Dirt N Dip Camping Trip

What do you get when you put a bunch of motorcycling women in the woods and add dirt and mini bikes, BBQ, a hammer, a creek and lots of booze? Lots of smiles, laughter, bruises and even some blood. This was the first annual Dirt N Dip ladies only ride and camping trip, brought to you by See See Motorcycles. Blasting around on the lil red rocket minibike, late night skinny dipping, singing outlaw country under the stars and so much more…

The above photo is only of the remaining troopers who were there later in the day on Sunday- I was not one of them (more on that later). There were at least 30 girls there, twelve rode in and the rest carpooled to bring extra crap like booze, beds, and dogs!

Thor (of See See) Jumps for 60k & the One Moto Books

Remember the posts about helping fund the One Motorcycle show books kickstarter project? Well, the crew hit their mark… so Thor upped the stakes by agreeing to “jump over all the people who pledged” if they hit 60k before time was up. Happily for us, they made it!

If you’re in the Portland area you should come down to Club 21 (2035 NE Glisan St.) tomorrow (Wednesday Apr 3rd at 5p) and witness Evil Thornievel jumping a bunch of folks.

I am so excited for this… one of the best things that’s ever happened to Portland motorcyclists.

21 Helmets Show 2012

December 1st at See See Coffee & Motorcycles… the second (I think? right?)) year of the 21 Helmets show commenced thanks to the planning of Thor Drake. You guessed it… the show has 21 helmets from 21 different artists. Shinya Kimura, Chemical Candy Customs, Death Spray Customs, Roland Sands, and more…

Motoladies Tori and Emily George play tug-of-war over a giant puddle in this slow motion video from See See Motorcycles. Epic messiness all over the place… you know you’ve always wanted to throw a bag of flower at your friend. Just under three minutes of awesomeness and directed by Greg Schmitt.
