The One Moto Show (video)

There were a lot of dynamic parts of the One Motorcycle Show no. 5 that I didn’t feel satisfied capturing in one frame. So this time I did something a little different and made a short video featuring highlights that really give the One show it’s uniqueness.

Caught at the One Show on Saturday by Justin Coffey of Touratech USA (website) and Peanut Butter Coast (website). Lower pic left to right, Chris Herrin, Angel Dupree, myself, my mom, and Karissa Coffey

The One Moto Snow

Road Trip (Part 2)

Getting to the One Show (the1moto.com) this year was a bit more difficult than in the past- partially because I moved to San Diego and partially because it snowed like crazy. The first portion of my road trip was easy peasy- driving the Purple Prius Eater (my Tacoma) to San Francisco from San Diego went shockingly well. The next leg started out with rain, and ended with Pandora’s Box looking like a Ducati popsicle.

The show today was busy as ever despite crazy snow. A few dirtbikes outside in the cold.

John Ryland of Classified Moto touched Pandora despite it’s lil sign! Oh snap.

A chopper rode in with zip ties, my mom visited the show and her comment was, “wow that’s smart!”

Sweet vans and brave folks drove in from all over, it was a pretty amazing day.

Snowy as hell in Portland but the turn out for the first night of the One Show was amazing. I’m so stoked to have been able to bring Pandora even though the going was a little tough.

I do love Portland, look at those crazy folks who rode to the show in the ~5 inches of snow.

You know what I love about adventure motorcyclists? They have zero f**ks to give. This guy is riding through snow like it ain’t no thing with a chain set up he made in his garage out of V-bar automotive chain attached with rivets to tubular nylon webbing, doubled back for rim protection. Genius!

Here’s to riding whatever you’ve got until you run out of road.

Those Canadians see a snow dusting like that and to them it might as well be summertime!

Here’s the lovely Jada (again)- photo’ed just before she rode down Skyline, her visor covered in ice.
Oh the lovely manic changes of winter weather in Oregon.

Awesome snow moto photo by Willard Chivers of Twisted Label.

I found Moto Lady some time last year while researching for a photo shoot. It made it on to my RSS reader and I always look forward to all the cool stuff you post. I finally got to do my own moto lady shoot and wanted to share it with you since this blog is my primary source for motorcycle imagery inspiration. Credits go to me at twistedlabel.com

Thanks for the awesome submission and super flattering compliments, Will! As for more background on the image- Willard told me it’s his friend Jozi on a custom Yamaha XS 650 in Utah.

The lovely Nean Tiffany Kiskela… merely sliding down the hill was not good enough for this motolady. Ah, Alaska.

Jorian Ponomareff does it again… this time ICE DRIFTING. Reminds me of Icon's Motorcycle VS Car drift battles, but a really chilly version. Without all the rad Icon-personality, of course. MAN I love the Swedes!
