Earlier today I posted the gif of a guy jumping his dirtbike into a river. Fabian on facebook pointed me to the source video- a clip from StuntFreaks Killing IT movie… the dirtbike base jump from 40 meters (that’s about 131 feet for us stupid Americans).
Antti Pendikainen- “I’m planning to drive with the bike, from there to there, as fast as possible. And try not to fuck up. And at the end come down with my base parachute.
This certainly brings new meaning to the saying… “FULL THROTTLE ‘TIL YOU SEE GOD”.
Check it out.
No idea what this madness is from but… WHO JUMPS A DIRTBIKE INTO A RIVER?! UPDATE: See the 130ft/40m MotoCross Base Jump video here.
Insane.
(If you’re on your phone you might not be able to see the gif.)

Jessica Maine mid-stunt. Girls… motorcycles… girls that can ride the hell out of motorcycles. WINNING.
My bad- sometimes the internet leads you astray. This is actually stunt rider Angela Bogdanova, not Jessica Maine. Thanks to LeahStunts for the correction!

Ewa Pieniakowska stunt training in 2010. Ewa is a Polish stunt rider with a lot of talent in a tiny package.
It’s one thing to see stunters doing this, or racers who can get so low in corners they could scrape shoulder- but to see a retro custom like this, rider dragging hand in a parking lot… man, that just makes me all tingly inside.

I managed to get video of Bill Dixon’s second run at the XDL Stunt Championship finals. He won the championship… fourth year in a row!
Even if you’re not into motorcycle stunting this is worth a watch. Bike control is one of the most important aspects of being a good rider… does that make BIll the best?!
