Submission from Roxxi O’Hara-

I was privileged to ride the track at MOTO GP Austin last weekend with a bunch of very kewl Ducatistas and met this very sweet young lady named Stephanie from Houston. Always refreshing to see a Moto Lady…makes me smile.

Stephanie clearly knows the joys of motorcycling, what a beautiful smile! Proud of her early Ducati Monster, perhaps? Thanks Roxxi!

Got an email today that made me laugh and then warmed my heart.
“Realized I might be a Moto Nut when I photoshopped my helmet on my baby’s ultrasound pic when announcing to the world that my wife and I are having our first child…” (from Benjamin Walker)

Awesome future motolady / motokid submission-

This is a picture of my Niece (Sidney) and Nephew (Jack) sitting on my slightly broken 1198.  I somehow kicked the mirror off when I laid it down after a lady pulled out in front of my, in the picture you can kind of see the road rash down my left arm.  This was taken the same day that I bought Sidney her first motorcycle……she is 5 years old!  I explained to her the importance of wearing here gear (more or less just had to show her my arm and leg and she got the point).  Just thought I would share an up and coming Moto Lady with you!

Had this awesome submission in my tumblr inbox today- Angie Cooper from Richmond, VA.

1967 Triumph T120 chopper to be brought back to life from totheriver.tumblr.com. I just picked up this barn find last week and plan on getting her running this spring. Currently I ride a 2009 Kawasaki KLX 250SF as my daily driver and a 1974 BWM R90 for longer trips.

Submission from the lovely Elizabeth Bacon-

Here’s me on one of my very first rides on my vintage ‘77 Yamaha XS400. I took the rider training course, and first rode a moto under my own power in summer ‘12. Bike is bone stock in this shot. I laid it down after about four weeks of riding, though. (Totally rider error…a decreasing radius left-hander, and I thought I was entering the turn too hot, but instead of looking ahead and leaning in and making it, I sat up, braked, and looked straight so naturally I rode right off the road. Fortunately relatively low-speed, I just jammed a finger and bruised my thigh.) Now my bike has new handlebars, headlamp & turn signals. I’d like to make the seat less tall, but am not committed to going full-on brat style — mostly because I have no budget right now. Very happy to be a motolady too! Waiting eagerly for any sunny days this winter…. Keep up the beautiful stuff!

Thanks for the awesome note, Elizabeth! Glad to hear you hopped back on the horse, it really sounds like you’re born to ride like so many of us motorcyclists feel!

I’ve been one-upped. Ren sent me this amazing photo- Honda CB400F in the back of a Honda Civic hatch. Now that’s a motorcycle in a car!
I had to share a similar experience early last Summer. Picked up my first Bike from Seattle, brought it back to Vancouver, BC (Through customs) one sunny afternoon. Bungee cord to keep the hatch shut and used the rear & passenger seatbelts to keep it from shifting. Drained all fluids prior & layed down cardboard/garbage bags. Three people to get it in and two out. -Ren

I found Moto Lady some time last year while researching for a photo shoot. It made it on to my RSS reader and I always look forward to all the cool stuff you post. I finally got to do my own moto lady shoot and wanted to share it with you since this blog is my primary source for motorcycle imagery inspiration. Credits go to me at twistedlabel.com

Thanks for the awesome submission and super flattering compliments, Will! As for more background on the image- Willard told me it’s his friend Jozi on a custom Yamaha XS 650 in Utah.

My motorcycle girl tattoo! My mom rides a vintage BMW cafe racer so I thought it would be cool to get tattoo of one. My ride is a ‘75 Honda 400F.

Submission: I like where this girl is coming from-

I’m a huge fan of you so I thought I’d upload me on a friends bike because anatomically, bikes were built for ladies…
