The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show 2014

Pandora and I were unable to make it to the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show in Austin, Texas on April 11th and 12th this year. The event is snuggled up to MotoGP and features the Wall of Death, a full bar, and works of Shinya Kimura, Walt Siegl, Revival Cycles, Boyle Custom Moto, and one of my favorite motoladies Sofi Tsingos plus a ton of other talented folks. GT Cafe for Cause Site Launch

Sofi Tsingos has launched the website for her awesome project, GT Cafe for Cause! After her father George was diagnosed with Cancer she started this project to help keep his mind off the battle. A collection of 1953 motorcycle messengers (many women included).  A photo of 1953 messengers at Hockley Post Office. Note that they had five B.S.A. 250cc C10 models with JLE registrations ranging from 181-188, maybe not all of their fleet of bikes is on show here. A later 1958 photo shows BSA Bantams which replaced all of these C10 250cc bikes well before 1958.See a photo of Grays G.P.O.in 1954, with myself, Colin, Norman & Charlie with a much smaller fleet of B.S.A. motorcycles than Hockley.
