Lots of bikes out and about today and a lovely 90 mile jaunt on the Maxim. Ended up stopping at Skyline Tavern because there were so many people there (about 4 more than pictured). Best thing about riding today (besides riding in general) was getting to wear my short leather gloves. So much more comfy than the winter gloves I have.
Justin’s 1982 Yamaha XJ Maxim 650 the day he got it (top) and today (bottom). It’s amazing how much small upgrades can completely change a bike’s ride-ability and look. Carb cleaning, exhaust patches, exhaust wrap, new handlebars and mirrors, grip warmers, new rear suspension, fork seals, new headlight bulb, and emergency tool kit in custom leather fork bag.
