The Ducati Elite II by MotoPuro

Simone’s Ivory Monster

It’s really cool seeing other retro-ish Monster builds out there. Simone de Ranieri from Pisa, Italy sent me these photos of his Ducati Monster build.  Much like the beginnings of my bike, his was a little rough around the edges.  Definitely something to be excited about in the ‘after’ state, however.  Here are some photos from the process.  Nice 60’s style Ducati logo. Retro Modern Bell Bullitt Coming Soon

Looks like Bell decided to join the retro modern full face helmet club- they recently announced the Bullitt, modeled after the original Bell Star helmet from 40 or so years ago, and so far it’s been shown in three color variations. They do have a really awesome look to them.  I’ve yet to find out just how safe that tiny little chin strap will be… the jury is still out in my opinion.  Looks like you’ll have to wait until March of 2014 to get one, but that’s actually not that far… Continue Reading »
